Royal Farms Wins Award

Royal Farms received the Leadership in Sustainability award for Business of the Year from the Maryland Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as part of the group’s annual WinterGreen awards.
“Royal Farms is thrilled to announce that they have received the Leadership in Sustainability award for “Business of the Year - Royal Farms,” the retailer posted on its Facebook page. “This award exemplifies the efforts that Royal Farms has been making to be more sustainable not just in their construction, but in the operations and maintenance as well.”
The Maryland-based convenience store chain is committed to seeking LEED certification for all its 136 locations in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Pennsylvania. The Maryland Chapter of USGBC recognizes high achievers in green building and environmental leadership across the state of Maryland each year.
