Fresh & Easy Introduces Eco-Friendly Store Brand

Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market has introduced Green Things, a new line of eco-friendly household cleaning and paper products.

Fresh & Easy Green Things line imageGreen Things uses natural cleaning agents and sustainable paper resources. The household cleaners are made with plant-based formulas that are biodegradable and pH-neutral, and are free of chemicals such as 1,4-dioxane, phosphates, dyes or perfumes.

Fresh & Easy Green Things household cleaners meet high standards for health and environmental safety and are certified by the Environmental Protection Agency as part of its Design for the Environment program. Like all Fresh & Easy private label products, Green Things household cleaners are never tested on animals.

Green Things products include the Ultra Dish Liquid in grapefruit and pear ($1.99), All Purpose Cleaner ($2.49), Window and Glass Cleaner ($2.49), Toilet Bowl Cleaner ($2.49), Automatic Dish Gel ($3.49) and Laundry Detergent in lavender and lemongrass ($8.99).

Fresh & Easy Green Things paper products are made from 100 percent recycled paper, with a minimum of 80 percent post-consumer content and include: bath tissue in four and six roll packs, paper towels in one roll or six roll packs, napkins (200 count), and Facial Tissue Cube (85 count).

"We set out to develop Green Things as an affordable range of environmentally-friendly household cleaner and paper products that are sure to get the job done right," said John Burry, Fresh & Easy's Chief Commercial Officer. The products are available at Fresh & Easy’s 170 stores in California, Arizona and Nevada.
